Michigan Whirlybirds had a large presence at the Hirobo Grand Event. Beautiful weather (most of the time), full scale helicopters, model scale helicopters, and great 3-D pilots. What more could you want?

The weather was perfect for the Whirlybirds 2007 picnic - 74 degrees, no clouds, mild wind. Why weren't you there?

The 2007 Christmas banquet was held at The Engine House in Mount Clemmens on December 15th. There were 29 Whirlybirds and guests that had a great time. The annual awards were presented - See the pictures on the first page of this album.

The day dawned cold and rainy, but we traveled to Goodells anyway. By the time the FunFly was scheduled to start, the rain had stopped and stayed away all day. In spite of the gloomy weather, many people showed up and we all had a great time.

September 17th of 2006 as a rare sunny, warm day. We were extremely lucky to have such a beautiful day and everyone had a great time. We had a bottle knockover contest and a Drag Race both won by Dan Catenacci. The grand prize was a Raptor 50 Titan, won by Lynne Horan. Also, a complete Raptor 30 with everything needed to get in the air was donated to the Whirlybirds by Larry Masko of Rochester Hills. The auction for the Raptor 30 was won by Steve Schneider of Clinton Township. Thanks to both Larry and Steve.
