Christmas Party 2008

The 2008 Christmas banquet was again held at The Engine House in Mount Clemmens on December 13th. There were 28 Whirlybirds and guests that had a great time. The annual awards were presented - See the pictures on the first page of this album.

Hirobo Grand Event - June 20-22, 2008

Michigan Whirlybirds had a large presence at the Hirobo Grand Event. Beautiful weather (most of the time), full scale helicopters, model scale helicopters, and great 3-D pilots. What more could you want?

September 11, 2011. As usual, we started the day with rain and then the weather turned GREAT! Good food, good flying, good weather, good friends - What more could we ask?

On June 18, the Michigan Whirlybirds had a Night Fly, hosted by Rrok. WOW, what a great time!

For the first time in 3 years, the day had beautiful weather from beginning to end. This prompted 55 pilots to come out and join us for a day of fun with RC Helicopters.

The day dawned cold and rainy, but we traveled to Goodells anyway. By the time the FunFly was scheduled to start, the rain had stopped and stayed away all day. In spite of the gloomy weather, many people showed up and we all had a great time.
